Ok. Here me out… Someone who is competent in using a controller and a keyboard, they should known as gambidextrous

I can support this. It’s an especially useful skill when jumping from an xbox game to a switch game.
I think we should extend the term to people who are comfortable and OK with playing at sub 30 FPS while still enjoying high refresh rates.
Some games even on PC are just a better experience using a controller, particularly metroidvanias IMO. I have a knockoff PS4 controller just for that, so far I’ve used it on hollow knight, the first ori game (and soon the second), and plateup.
I never understand why using some form of input besides keys/mouse is seen as some kind of oddity. PCs of all shapes (Amiga, C64, AtariST, etc) have had joysticks/joypads and broad support for much longer than they’ve had 3D accelerators
I’m not saying it is an oddity. I’m just saying that if you use one and not the other, you aren’t good with the other because you aren’t used to it. I compare to being right handed and trying to throw a ball with your left. You can throw the ball, but not as proficient than you can with your right
