Any news about the Jonah Hill/Scorcese Dead movie? - Lemmy.world

I haven’t seen any updates since the movie was announced and that was back in 2021. Now it looks like Jonah Hill is in hot water so I’m wondering if there’s any other info.

I’m only skimming headlines but it looks like he is accused of forcibly kissing a 16 year old, which is rude to say the least.

last I heard they were actively working on the script and I think a few other casting decisions had been made in addition to Jonah Hill. probably still a long way away from actually shooting the movie but apparently it’s typical of Scorsese to keep things in development this long while he works on other projects. I dont think the controversy over Jonah’s texts or whatever it is will effect the movie idk very much about that situation though
