I believe you could also turn off vote notifications, I did im pretty sure. And you could also turn of replies too.
Also do you mean notifications in the notifications section of the app or push notifications to your phone?

I know you can for sure turn off push notifications, they actually had decent customization for that.

NumbersCanBeFunI usually disabled comment notifications on posts. Especially if I post something around the time I go to work. I can just go into the thread and reply to the comments I want to reply too.
Also there was some sort of dread that became associated with comment notifications for me. Every time I would open up my notifications I would think “what asshole is picking a right now?”. 9/10 my thinking would be correct.
The Fediverse has these same people but the difference is that I just stopped giving a fuck. If you straight up don’t reply than the bullshit stops dead in its tracks.
