Operation Manatee 🍁📻

This is a remarkable album.

Its warm, melty bits. Its weird, jagged edges. The colours, the textures...

This was one of the most experimental things I'd ever heard a so-called rock band do at that time.

It got near constant play in my rotation back then. It continues to be one of the most interesting albums I've ever heard.

Been a while. Going to have to give it another spin.

@opman Took me awhile to understand this album ngl. But damn, when it clicks, it's so good. How to Disappear Completely is such a masterpiece too. I also relate to the lyrics too, somehow...

@simoncampbell I have not. Actually, CBC has played some. Can't mistake that voice. But I haven't purposefully sat down and listened.

@opman ‘A Light For Attracting Attention’ is their first and only studio album to date. It needs to be listened too multiple times to get it. That and Low’s ‘Hey What’ really did it for us last year.
