@arstechnica

Anyone who goes to work for Musk deserves what they get.

@Enema_Cowboy @arstechnica really? cmon some are just trying to get food on the plates of their families yknow

just because you work for an unpopular person shouldn't make you hated

@vixalientoots @arstechnica

I do not hate them. But I question the judgement of those who do choose to work for Musk. I understand that there are people who do not have a choice, such as those here on a work visa.

@Enema_Cowboy @arstechnica yes. I believe a huge portion of them are on work visas so they can't afford to just quit

@vixalientoots @arstechnica

Those are the people I feel bad for. It sucks when there is a change in management that is a turn for the worse.

But I would not want to go work for someone who has developed a reputation for not paying their bills.

@Enema_Cowboy @arstechnica yes that's you. you got your standards.

I believe the engineers on work visas simply want to get paid a good wage and not get deported. it's a lot hard to think about ethics and politics when you didn't eat for the day.

@vixalientoots @arstechnica

Roger that. I've taken some shit jobs over the years to pay the bills.

@Enema_Cowboy @arstechnica they get paid sooo...

@InHUM44n @arstechnica

Getting paid is not always guaranteed. I know this from first hand experience.
