Henrique@kissane So, is Dropbox a poor choice for cloud backup? I am trying to start using it more seriously.
@hcs It used to be straightforward and good. I've had only a few issues with regular Dropbox syncing and versioning over the years, but the "Dropbox Backup" feature is an absolute nightmare that reconfigures your computer in ways no one should allow and then makes it so hard to get everything right again. The absolute hackiest.
@kissane Well... I am still struggling with it. The service seems confusing because the interface is weird. Since my lab partners are using it, I am also trying to fit for a better work integration.
@hcs I'm going to flip to Backblaze for actual backups but Dropbox seems to be the standard for other kinds of file sharing, so I think we're stuck with it to some degree
