I like sour ales okay enough, but why don't microbreweries ever do cider?

I'd also really like to find more mead. But considering honey is such a precious product, one might even say resource, that's more understandable. But cider seems like it would be way more attainable.

@kaputotter
I'm taking this as a sign I need to make mead again. I *just* watched a Tasting History video about mead last night X3
@xavious Hah I watched that same one! I'm not serious about homebrewing (I don't have the space for it honestly ._. ) but lately I've been very interested in mead as a concept! It's so different from everything else!

@kaputotter
I get that. I will say though, making small batches in a 1 gallon jug isn't that space intensive. When I wasn't working with it in the kitchen I kept it tucked away in my closet X3

Mead was really fun to make though. My favorite was a lemon mead based on Finnish Sima and had surprisingly simple ingredients. Was pretty much just honey, lemons, handful of raisins, yeast, and water.

@xavious Dangit... you're putting the itch in me again to try!
