MattA lot of the anti-Threads posts here sound like a guy who almost convinced everyone at the party to play his overly complex German board game. But while he was setting up, someone turned on Mario Kart in the other room, and he’s pretty salty about it.

@BrooklynBuckets @mleveck no, because trending isn't enough. These plenty of stuff I want to see that will never trend. I want to be exposed to stuff I might not see based on what I like without having to look for it. Can't get that without data driven curation
@cspcypher @mleveck Ah. I see what you're saying. I guess that is true. But I couldn't stand the Facebook algorithms. Insta has been better, I guess, so maybe Threads will be too. But I just get overwhelmed by them, I guess. #mastodon #ThreadsApp
