I know itās probably stable now, but BTRFS gave me PTSD from the early days. We had so much data corruption, and my on-call was not fun. I still subconsciously avoid it š¬

I run GNU/Linux on all my computers except on the one I use for work because I need to run ETABS and SAP2000, I really wish I had the time and expertise to code my own structural analysis software so I could be free of these.

GenBlobI used FreeBSD as my OS on my laptop a few years ago and Itās pretty good but with the advancements and huge support that Linux gets, FreeBSD has to play a forever game of catch up. Iāll use it again someday
