Upvote errors

Today, when I go to upvote a comment it directs me to an error page. I've confirmed that I'm properly logged in and it does not happen on top-level posts, just comments. Anyone else? #kbinMeta

Upvote errors - /kbin meta - kbin.social

Today, when I go to upvote a comment it directs me to an error page. I've confirmed that I'm properly logged in and it does not happen on top-level posts, just comments. Anyone else?

I've had it happen before but I can't pin point why.
I have had it happen too, especially when viewing lemmy from kbin, but reloading the page usually works

it directs me to an error page

What sort of error page? What does it say, if anything?

It happens to me from time to time. I think it's just that you happened to click the button while the server had a hiccup. Usually I can press Back and click the vote again, and it registers.
Kbin Error when interacting with a page that isn't freshly loaded

Almost any action taken on kbin - whether voting, subscribing, blocking, etc... - if the page you're doing it on was not loaded recently, kbin gives a full page error. So as an example, if I open up a comments page for a thread, if I perform a kbin action on that page right away (e.g. vote, subscribe, block, etc...) it will work. But if I leave the page open for a few minutes before getting to it, then any such action will result in a full page error.   The timing is very reminiscent of when Cloudflare was enabled - because if you interacted with a kbin page that wasn't very recently loaded, you got the Cloudflare page. Since Cloudflare is turned off, I'm not sure why this hidden freshness timer is still causing problems.

It happens to me if I let the page get stale.
