Happy 15th Birthday App Store šŸŽ‚
@pschiller HBD! 🄳
I’d love to know what was the first app you download from the App Store?
Texas Hold'em

Texas Hold'em are mobile games that were developed by Apple to adapt the card game of the same name to be played on various iPod, iOS, and iPadOS devices. The first mobile version of Texas Hold'em from Apple Computer was originally released through the iTunes Store on September 12, 2006 for the 5th-generation iPod, 3rd-generation iPod nano, and later Click Wheel-based iPod models. It was discontinued by the end of September 2011 as the iPod classic was the last remaining Click Wheel-based model.

I’ll bet you’re right.
@BasicAppleGuy @chockenberry @gruber Ha! My App Store purchase history shows that I downloaded ā€œTexas Holdā€˜emā€ on August 20, 2008. My first download on July 10, 2008 was the ā€œiTunes Remoteā€ app (I downloaded a number of apps testing the store before that).
@pschiller @BasicAppleGuy @chockenberry @gruber So to whom does Gruber’s $5 go to?
@pschiller ooof. Mine was AIM. But I do see iTunes remote 3 apps higher.
@pschiller @BasicAppleGuy @chockenberry @gruber mine was eBay. My oldest app purchase that is still installed. Followed by the Remote app!
@pschiller @BasicAppleGuy @chockenberry @gruber Ā« Virtual Pool Lite Ā» for me. On the iPod Touch December 2008
@pschiller I’m still getting a lot of use out of the Remote app, on my iPad. It’s a great second screen use when playing music from my iMac.
