It’ll be a bit different when it gets released as an Obvious Tells song on the next EP, but I like to see what I can do taking my hardcore songs and going it alone, on an acoustic.

Acoustic is where I spent so much time before coming back to writing for a group. I think the Tells would probably be the first band that I might not be able to pull of as a trio, but I also don’t know if live performance is really ever in the cards for me again.

the lyrics to this song down here, it got me a content strike on TikTok when I had them in my stories; but I think every trans femme knows the feeling of sucking it up and hiding your body and being a “sir” to get thru a day.

I felt like it was important to record this without makeup or fucks to give.

The recorded version of this is little faster and has two (2!) bass tracks and minimal guitar because why bi-amp your bass when you can double track
