If Obama had stolen a bunch of top secret documents, bragged about sharing then with people who weren’t allowed to see them, and subsequently been on trial for a bunch of pretty serious crimes, then yes.
Police officers posting for selfies with a criminal who’s currently on trial is a bad look.
ShadywackTop secret documents seem to be an issue for Biden too, granted that’s a tiny fraction of the issues one could take up about Trump that aren’t even a thing for Biden, but still.
KairuByteI mean, the situations are completely different. Biden (and other VPs and former presidents, including Mike Pence) have found they had classified information on hand, and immediately turned them over.
Trump kept them “secret”, lied about having them, them, ignored requests to have them returned, showed them to people who didn’t have clearance, lied about having more when the first batch was taken, and apparently lost at least one, or is again lying about having some.
This is like saying a pat on the back is the same thing as being hit with a bolder and almost dying.
