Poisson cru - LemmyWorld

We try to make food from all countries, drawing randomly each time. This was Fiji.

is there a wewantplates sub? this would be perfect for it
wdym, it’s in an almost handy bowl
Kind of off putting that it’s spelled almost like “poison”
“Your poison, sir.”
Can you share a recipe or info page on what the dish is about?

Of course! We used this recipe www.turtlefiji.com/fresh-fijian-kokoda/

We had to use tuna because it was one of the only sushi grade fish we could find where we live.

Coconut bowls often end up leaking, so you do need a plate eventually. But they add a nice visual flavor, and if you finish dinner before everyone else, you can start nibbling at your bowl.
