Brendan Jones@bethsawin this does not in any way address the systemic implications of or solutions to that problem, but some happy news from this week that at least is a move in the right direction: the Dutch government won a court case that’ll now allow them to reduce the number of flights at Schiphol Airport.

@mcv @bethsawin quite frustrating that the reason is noise reduction and not, y’know, drastically reducing emissions so that we don’t make an unliveable Earth. Happy for the residents nonetheless, of course.
