@raichoo Agreed! I was looking at a Dingwall Combustion or a Peavey Cirrus…..buuuuut the Sire was a very decent alternative. I don’t gig out anymore….sooooo just needed something for home. The Sire works. 👍🏻
@wsellers Dingwalls are awesome though. I really like my NG3 and ordered a custom a while back. The waiting time is going to be brutal 😹 I really like the look of the blue Sire M7 6-String. Surely a tempting bass!
@raichoo Yup! I saw on your website! 👍🏻 Ever since I saw John Taylor’s Dingwall, I’ve been tempted. No place locally for me to try out. The Sire is a good bass, regardless of the adorable price. A lot for the money. They NECK is amazing. 12” radius and rolled edges. Sooooo easy to play. My other bass is a Rickenbacker.
@wsellers I only hear good things about Sire basses. A LOT of bang for the buck. Sadly I never had to chance to try one out. Could be that I just went past them in all the music stores because I always go for the 6 strings and if I'm lucky they have one or two 😸 Oh Rickenbackers are also pretty special. Basses are such beautiful instruments, hard to resist getting all of them 😺
@raichoo 😎 - Also, downsized to this little Spark 40. I still love my Ampeg and Trace Elliot Elf head/cab…..but this works better in the living room. I play guitar now and then just so I don’t forget how to play.
@wsellers Pretty much ditched the guitar for the bass. I still have 2 electric guitars here but I barely touch them… should probably sell them at some point. I just feel way more at home at the bass these days.

@wsellers I'm into technical death metal these days but also some jazzy stuff from time to time. Certainly pushes me to my limits all of the time, which can be highly frustrating 😺 Toured with the band Vroudenspil throughout last year and currently there are some local metal bands that are showing interest. The fun thing about playing bass. Lots of people want you in their band 😸
