Some of the top companies Facebook has acquired include Instagram ($1 b), WhatsApp ($19 b), Oculus VR ($2 ), com (undisclosed sum), LiveRail ($500 m), Threadsy (undisclosed sum) ¹. These 27 deals alone were valued to be worth more than $23 b; can you imagine how much bigger that number would be if all 78 of the Facebook acquisitions had been disclosed? ¹
