@illusionofjoy I live in #Australia: we have Ranked Choice Voting (we call it preferential voting) and I'm a huge supporter.
Coupled with #compulsoryvoting, it generally induces politicians who want to be elected to move to the middle, but it also enables #voters to move the Overton window, because if single issue/small party candidates attract support, then major parties sit up and pay attention, and generally try to adopt policies that will regain support.
