In January 2019, the Gmail account Hunter Biden used to contact sex workers took over his iCloud account and ordered all his content for download. The next month, the data on the Hunter Biden laptop was deleted.

I'm suddenly having quite a lot of fun with the Hunter Biden laptop story these days.
The evidence now points to a cabal of Russian sex workers using (conjecture) an unconscious HB fingerprints to turn over the laptop to hackers who remote backed it up, edited the contents and specifically alerted the repair guy.
The laptop does seem like it was HBs but it was remote backed up, remote wiped and remote replaced with the earlier remote backup with a bunch of edited documents.
@dnavinci Interesting question. I don't know if he used bio to open his phones, but that would be an easy thing to do.
But to be clear: They didn't make the copy of Hunter's account.Apple did. Then wiped the laptop so they could rebuild it.

Ah, definitely conjecture on my part.
When you say, "they didn't make a copy", you're just clearly stating the lack of evidence as to WHO initiated the backup, right? Apple doesn't generally make backups on their own initiative.
