Is this possible at all without cheesing it with zonai devices? It feels like there’s no feasible way to work out which direction to go the cloud is just so thick.

Without spoiling you too much. Go to the hyrule castle, there is a chest sanctum that would help you

spoilerSo the only story mission I think I have left is ‘Destroy Gannondorf’, I didn’t see anything in the sanctum when I was fighting the phantoms. Should I have seen something in there?
