Revisiting Porcupine Tree's "In Absentia" today after running across the documentary on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Eoq-xTsV98) and realizing the album is over 21 years old now! One of my top 10 albums ever, I think; eternally grateful to @imdonbecker for turning me on to it so early and making me a PT/SW fan for life.

@aharden I still love the music (last album notwithstanding), but as the years go by I find myself less of a fan of Wilson's "tortured genius" personality.
@imdonbecker I'm a sucker for the music. In many cases (for me), the lyrics come along for the ride. I didn't like TFB much, hoping THC is better.
@aharden TFB has a lot of filler but some of his best songs. Love "King Ghost", "Eminent Sleaze" and "Follower". Curious about the new album, which I'm sure will be vastly different.
