@Mikeroyce Great article. It reminded me of the recent Deadline podcast with Courtney Kemp, Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Sera Gamble, and Greg Berlanti in which they spoke about how much better it is to write while a show is still in production and how it allows them to work in conversation with the actors--their choices, unexpected chemistry, unforeseen events, etc.
