thoughts on Framework laptops? I have reserved but not yet paid for a 13" AMD model. But now I see Frameworks have problems running too hot and very poor battery life.
Jay Faulkner@zzzeek very yes. With the matte screen it's very close to my ideal version of a laptop. I have a frakenupgraded version with pieces from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen (matte screen!)

Donny van der Meer@zzzeek Strong recommend from me too! I have the 13" 13-gen intel version with 61Wh battery and I use it mostly with Windows. The battery can last me a full day of programming work. I haven't had any heating issues at all. The matte screen at 3:2 ratio is great, the keyboard too, and it's really light. Haven't been this excited about a laptop since the first time I had a macbook.

@zzzeek I was also having trouble deciding if I wanted the 2.5g Ethernet module, but then realized it doesn't matter at all, I can just buy one later if I have a need for it.
