Have a Steam Deck? Show me what cool skins you have on it:

#SteamDeck

@gamingonlinux no skin, just a sweet shell replacement
@G0ldenSp00n @gamingonlinux this is so cool! how difficult was the replacement? I know nothing but did a switch swap once, would love to try this

@jfitzman @gamingonlinux it tooks like 3-4 hours, but no part was super difficult. especially if you have the right tools (i used the #ifixit screen removal tools) and watch a couple guides before doing it.

important note, you dont need to remove everything from the metal chassis, you should be able to move that over as on piece. the jsaux guide shows this, so make sure to watch the reguardless of the kit you get.

@jfitzman @gamingonlinux it is also definitely easy than anything switch, i did just the gulikit joycon upgrade and the ribbon cables in the switch are so small and tedious. the steam deck has large tabs to make pulling and inserting ribbon cabels way easier.
@gamingonlinux i have a steam deck but no skin
@gamingonlinux i wish I bought the Clone of the Kingdom skin from dbrand.
If anyone has a kit for sale, hmu!
@gamingonlinux I like my things naked, as <strike>nature</strike> engineers intended.
@gamingonlinux dbrand skin and case. It’s really good.
@gamingonlinux dbrand Damascus 👌
@limeyoghurt @gamingonlinux Why not wrapping your whole car with it?
@gamingonlinux I have a steam deck but unfortunately no skin. Currently just rocking it naked. One day I’ll get a kill switch case from Dbrand
@gamingonlinux I almost picked up the Teardown skin but then I saw Clone of the Kingdom and went 'I have to have it'
@gamingonlinux The Clone of The Kingdom skin, on which I play... definitely not Zelda
@gamingonlinux I've got a pair of velcro strips to mount a battery pack on the back when im travelling :)
@gamingonlinux None, actually. I was thinking about getting the semi-transparent replacement shells instead. I like the look, and it seems to have better ventilation.
@gamingonlinux love it more than ever
@_brandon_ @gamingonlinux what brand is that? I would love to get the jsaux ones but I only find back plates on amazon
@gamingonlinux My SD is "naked" at the moment. Had a cheap silicon case, but removed that a few weeks ago.
Currently waiting for JSAUX to ship the transparent back cover and the tpu case.
@gamingonlinux i got a clean white one from dbrand, thinking of replacing it with a transparent one with the metal panel for better dissipation
@gamingonlinux No skin, but I do have a sticker of Gaben's favourite lil' horse
