Q: Why do programmers code in dark mode?

A: Light attracts bugs.

@niconiconi

Q: Why do systems engineers live in basements?

A: Preference for environments with as little Windows as possible.

@niconiconi That explains a lot about my code
@niconiconi because they like to hunch over really close to their screen and squint like giant nerds instead of sitting up straight from a comfortable distance
@niconiconi code looks like those bugs in light mode. then you wonder why the code is moving like a marquee and then you're like oh wait it's actually a bug...that bug.

@niconiconi Someone hasn't turned on the light in the kitchen at midnight to get a snack only to have cockroaches scatter to all corners.

I know I haven't. The worst I've dealt with is ants and termites. Apparently they're mutually exclusive according to the exterminator. I don't want either one on my counter tops, thanks.

@niconiconi

If "debugging" is the process of removing faults in the code, then "programming" must be the process of putting the faults in there.

@niconiconi why do nasa uses linux ?
because you can't open windows in space ๐Ÿ˜˜
