@misterdave yeah i noticed that too; the social norm on masto is to be way less antagonistic but that cuts both ways; I find myself reluctant to roast sealions and reply guys because I'm more likely to invite tut-tutting for that here
rj lake@Xibanya honestly by far the most embarrassing part of masto is the hyper-defensiveness the most foss-pilled poweruser types are on here. maybe more discourse on here about it vs the other twitter variants than even on bluesky, and that is honestly kind of impressive
