@dinomite I had always assumed for IG that it was two things: 1. It's extra dev and QA work, and 2. they store the photos in such low resolutions that it would be _really_ apparent on a screen the size of an iPad. But with Threads, since it's all about text, there's really no reason other than 1, that I can think of.

Chris Anderson@joeygibson at least with Instagram you can save a shortcut to the web version your home screen. Gets the icon, and looks/feels like a proper app. Shouldn't have to resort to that though.
Threads has no web version either ☹️
