John Jacob Jingleheimer SchmitI miss the regulars at #AnimeAtTheAlamo and I miss going there with friends made in our local adult ASD support group sharing a common interest in #anime. Alas our support group had to stop meeting face-to-face because of COVID but also because our ASD family therapist has severe vertigo and other health problems so in-person is just not feasible for them anymore. So we're all virtual now and I do attend sometimes but not nearly as often....and my closest friends who dug anime moved out of state before the pandemic.
Well, there was one other ASD friend who loves #anime but mostly #OnePiece named Frank who hails from a big 🇮🇹 conservative Catholic family....and because they're #Trumpers, Frank refused to tell me if he was vaccinated or not. And I said okay fine but I'm not inviting you to my house until you get vaccinated and disclose that to me. He never did and so we just drifted apart. I kept trying to introduce him to #anime shows beyond #OnePiece, with limited success.
