If you are an admin that is still considering federation with Threads, it would behoove you to take notice of how they are treating their users. You cannot delete threads without losing your instagram account. They set a trap.

I’m not sure that’s actually true. I rarely ever use Insta so I tested (downloaded and then deleted threads) and it didn’t seem to impact Insta at all - not sure if that’s because they didn’t really link?
