Does anyone know why a zero ohm resistor is being used on the positive end of this battery pack? (I've also observed it on the negative end, and my current guess is that it has zero use at all...but I don't fully trust myself)

@rem Maybe it's to prevent a short circuit situation? By having any sort of resistance in the circuit it doesn't instantly discharge. (speculating here)
@rem my guess is that they manufacture versions with resistors at higher ohms. This seems to be the purpose of zero ohm resistors, to simplify the manufacturing process. At least that’s what I found in my very brief research 🙂
