Sean Bala@GuyNamedBrian So excited! I really enjoyed Season 1. I'm probably one of the few people who have kept their Apple TV + subscription for it. I love it when I feel shows are playing a very long game. "Foundation" is the kind of show where things in Episode 1 might become relevant in episode 35.
@seanbala I haven’t read the books, but my understanding is that there is enough there to keep this going a long time, so long as the quality is there. And I’ve found plenty of other things to watch on Apple TV Plus (Ted Lasso, Silo, See, various nature docs, etc.) to warrant keeping the subscription. But I’m glad to be adding a new season of Foundation to the list!
I think I read that the plan for Foundation is 5-6 seasons. They have it mapped out and showed the plan when they pitched it.
I have been genuinely impressed the the quality of Apple's offerings. A breath of fresh air to Netflix. I liked Ted and Schmigadoon. and I started watching Servant but got distracted. Silo looks great. I've also been wanting to watch The Afterparty.
And they have some good movies. I absolutely loved Come From Away.
@seanbala I seem to remember them having a long term plan for this; hopefully it will all come to fruition. And there’s definitely more content I want to check out, if I can just find the time!
