I don’t care that it’s the hottest day in 100,000+ years. I care about what we’re doing to stop it from getting hotter and to help those least responsible for causing climate change to adapt.
@davidho yes, it continues to shame humanity that those least culpable suffer the greatest pain, while those truly responsible continue to profit.
@davidho
I'm still hoping that 2023 will prove to be the year our fossil fuel burning finally peaks. Saudi Arabia keeps trying to raise the price for oil by cutting production, but it's not working since apparently more and more people are working to end #GlobalWarming

@davidho

As long as that so-called adaptation doesn't involve dismantling our industry, our transportation and our cities.

(I'm from Argentina. "Least responsible" would be an understatement: our development was financed selling meat to England, as we now sell soybeans to China.)

@davidho
always on the hunt for noteworthy *records*, the media will be all too happy about the necessary frequent updates with the same headline...
@davidho TWW: People have begun a long transition that will define our success or failure. As we move from the use of fire and explosions to bubbles and magnets for our basic needs and creativity, the destructive nature of our use of primitive forces will continue to threaten our world and require that we assist the Earth to recover and its creatures to thrive. *It is a wonderful time to be alive. Change is upon us. You are so right we must work together to protect those most affected. OWOP
