Today I reached 1 MILLION unique listeners on Spotify!
That means that more than 1 million people heard at least one of my songs on Spotify since I uploaded music there in 2017.
I never would have thought I'd reach so many people with my ambient music. 😊

What helped me a lot was getting in touch with like-minded musicians through years of networking on social media. Curating your own playlists and trying to help other musicians helps with that.
When Valley View Records reached out for a compilation album it started to grow faster. After that compilation I released a few more singles and EPs with them. Thanks to the label's focus on streaming I was able to reach so many ears.
I always think back to what a fellow musician once said in an online conversation:
"Remember it's not a sprint. It's a marathon."
