Even if he has some qualms with some design choices with Mastodon or has doubts about its future, I still can’t understand anybody — or him in particular — having enthusiasm for Threads.
I mean… whatever they call it, it’s Facebook. We know their game by now.

Ron@drdrang he wants to be on a platform with reach that exceeds mastodon - his whole business is selling ads on his site and podcasts. He makes I’m excess of &500k a year from advertising if current advertising rates are accurate. It’s all about the money 💰
