When refreshing the page I can see myself being logged in as another user for a split second - Lemmy.world

I sometimes see myself being logged in as another user when I refresh the lemmy.world page with Ctrl+F5. When I stop the page from loading at that point I can see all the communities they have subscribed to. Is that supposed to happen? 🙃

That’s alarming from a security/privacy aspect. I don’t think that’s normal, wonder if one of the admins can look into it.
I have also had this happen.
I just tried this and it happened for me, too. I saw a few different usernames pop up in the handful of times I tried it.

My bet is that is a caching issue.

This once happened with Steam as well.

I haven’t noticed it today, but before the fixes that went in recently to stop the awful lag and such, I had it happen one time. So it’s been going on for at least a few days.

I put in a bug report.

github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/1843

If you guys add what browsers/OSes you’re using, and whether you’ve only seen it on lemmy.world or on other instances, that’d be useful. I only saw it once.
