A poll for members of CreatorStudio regarding (de)federation with Meta’s Threads and future P92 projects. I currently have a limit in place for the server. Which allows you to follow accounts from Threads but doesn’t federate beyond that. A full block will prevent follows at the server level.

What is your input on how to handle this?

(While I will still own the final choice I do care about and want to get the input from the community.)

@ahoneybunn Here’s the text from the federation page. As I understand this it a limit doesn’t restrict interaction. It just doesn’t show content to anyone who doesn’t follow it.

@sysop I feel like it's a nice middle ground then. At least until we see what they really want to do with the Fediverse.
