Are Republicans already laying the groundwork for a massive 2024 social media campaign of lies and disinformation? Are they trying to block America from doing anything about it in advance? If so, what can we do?

How Trump, Putin, & the GOP Plan To Rig the 2024 Election?

With the help of a Trump-appointed federal judge, who was the perfect patsy, because he’d previously drunk the Kool-Aid on Covid, masks, and vaccines...

The Hartmann Report
@ThomHartmann Thom, we can #Unite and fight fascism. #WeAreTheGuardrailsofDemocracy
@damnkimberlee @ThomHartmann
If Thom Harmann cares about democracy he should have never worked for Russia Today imho.
@GreenFire KB, working for someone or an organization doesn’t make one anti-democratic. I’ve worked for insurance companies who I hated but it paid the bills—also, it taught me how to beat the homeowners insurance system.
Insider knowledge is priceless.
@damnkimberlee
I went from a six-figure salary to poverty wages because I couldn't justify working for the fossil fuel industry any longer once I accepted I'd not reform them from within. Not many people make the kind of choices I have for things that are important imo.
@GreenFire If I may ask, what made you leave?
@damnkimberlee
Once I realized that not enough people were taking #ClimateAction to forestall our #ClimateCrisis I had to leave in order to begin my full-time fight against the #FossilFools and thankfully have had a lot of success with that although I didn't think it would take this long so I now realize that I should have done something about figuring out how to make income afterwards, but what happens to me doesn't matter compared to what happens to the planet I figure.

@GreenFire KB, I understand that completely and respect the hell out of it. Sometimes—most often— we have to be close to the beast to learn how dangerous it truly is. Rarely do we take the advice or warnings from others.
Unfortunately, experience is our greatest teacher for a reason—because we’re all humans who have been lied to about the planet, democracy and who is responsible. I would give anything to have the knowledge I have now-35 years ago!

I must say—Oh the things I would have done differently, but the mistakes taught me the most.

@GreenFire @damnkimberlee
There are people who would question your “merit” for making that decision. (which is what is wrong with “meritocracy” and it’s insidious infection in our schools and courtrooms)
@janamg @damnkimberlee
Yes, our society pretty much only recognizes success in $$ I've become painfully aware.
@GreenFire KB, you’re preaching to the choir!!
So many times I was told to send my disabled son into an institution. My family and I sacrificed everything to be together and we were told how we were wrong. Poverty is often the price of disabilities, and few understand the cost.
