@tarrien I retoot artists a lot. And enjoy their stuff.

But I think that it is important to realize that Mastodon isn't just their free advertising service. I block people who are clearly just using me as free advertising. It seems fine to me to share one's work and mention that it can be purchased and where.

@OctaviaConAmore @tarrien I like what you said. I want us all to be a community. And simultaneously I don't want to be taken advantage of.
