Look, there's a lot of anger and dissent in the Fediverse about the launch of Threads, but can we all at least agree that it is going to be utterly hilarious to watch Musk pretending he's not not crying as the last shreds of the platform he paid billions of dollars for go swirling down the toilet?

My friends... less of the ableist language please, the correct term is "cringe-tent" as in "threads is full of a disorganised mass of people who think they are funny trying too hard and posting cringe-tent". 😀

Look like the work of the Gregg's chain bakery to my inexpert eye. That would fit with the username and sad failure to be funny.

Someone explained irony to "lads" once and its been pretty middling since.

@Homebrewandhacking @tom4okstate not using the word "lame" is totally fair. I'll retire that from my vocab as I never thought of it as ableist but I can see the logic. Cringe-tent, however, will never, ever make it's way into my lexicon, sorry 😉
