Something I've noticed IMMEDIATELY about Masto that I kinda like, is that there are tons and tonsa posts about properly using the platform from experienced folks! Which, while it does speak to the platform's inherent learning curve, it also speaks to the fact that people actively want to help folks overcome that learning curve! I like that~

@Timberpuppers so far for me I think the biggest thing has been learning to use hashtags again to tag some of my posts  due to the lack of an algorithm, so people are actually searching tags more!
But gosh, having no algorithm and just seeing posts from furries I’m following has been SUCH a blessing
