@9to5google This is something I never understood. This has nothing to with real life durability, it's just #TechTorturePorn. I blocked his channel a long time ago because of that. I really don't get it.

@TimDuran @9to5google it matters a lot in real life. If kids are curious about how this thing works. They'll for sure flex it to the other side. Accidentally sitting on the phone in bed also comes into play.

@deslocho @9to5google Sure, but if I use a hammer, it destroys the phone. I don't need a video to show my kids that this is the case. If I bend a folding phone the other way, it gets destroyed... 🤷

It's just tech-torture-porn. "Watch me destroy tech worth thousand of dollars! And if I bend it this way it's dead, who would have thought!"

@TimDuran @9to5google 😂 you see that's the difference. Samsung folds didn't break in half with Jerryrigeverything's bend test. So some phones do survive these tests. This is for information rather than tech porn. If that makes a difference in people's purchase decision people like this are doing a pretty good job in conveying the message to people.
