I’m not sure I’ve shared my art workspace before, but I just upgraded it so I thought I’d share it now.

I’ve been using the two folding tables up to this point, but between supplies, paints, models, tools, and reference sheets, I was running out of table space. So I grabbed a cork board for posting references, and a super sturdy wood topped work table! Everything that’s currently on the wood table used to be on the grey folding table. Also got a roll out cabinet for more nearby storage.

I will say, after using just the two folding table for almost a year, I would highly recommend them as cheap, flexible table space. They might not look great, but they’re pretty sturdy, relatively cheap (when compared to a wood/metal table or workbench), easy to move, and can be put away in storage to get the floor space back.

There’s also this weird side benefit of not caring as much about getting them dirty/nicking the surface. Useful for arts and crafts. Though I try to keep mine clean.

@bearmine Can 2nd this for certain; my very first 500ish sqft apartment, used them like crazy for my quasi office, they worked absolutely purrrrfectly!
@bearmine Carpet clean AF

@mrgrgr it’s year old carpet, new when I moved in. 😉

I’m sure the day will come when it’s stained and dirty and I have boxes everywhere and supplies. There was a pile of model/miniature boxes against the wall where the wood topped table now is. Was forced to clean them up to install the thing. 😅
