@stroughtonsmith seems strange they didn’t build basic iPad support in. My first assumption was that it was **constrained** by the Instagram code.
@stroughtonsmith that’s pretty cool though. I know you don’t care for SwiftUI but it’s a pretty nice framework.
@stroughtonsmith I never thought I’d see the day. 😆
@stroughtonsmith and still the iPad app is phone size
@stroughtonsmith I feel bad for the devs who had to crunch to advance the timeline when Zuck decided he wanted it to launch today instead of the end of the month
@stroughtonsmith interested. I would had bet it's all react native, though i guess react native would just use swiftui no?
@stroughtonsmith heard that’s the best way to build apps.
@stroughtonsmith where are all the mb going then? Unused internal frameworks they are forced to include?
@stroughtonsmith and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose on Android, apparently
@stroughtonsmith Confirmed with a developer on the project it’s got like 100 lines of SwiftUI, it’s still pretty much built atop IGListKit.
@mergesort I guess all the UIKit is masked by the binary encryption, where the SwiftUI is not!
@mergesort @stroughtonsmith To be fair, 100 lines of SwiftUI can do a lot
@dgriffinjones @stroughtonsmith Haha, it can but it’s mostly static data in this case.
@mergesort @stroughtonsmith SwiftUI I wonder what those 100 lines are even for lol.
@stroughtonsmith do they still only encrypt page 1 of __TEXT ?
