@EvilGinger013 there is a similar account for Raphlife too. I'm not sure he is aware of it. I thought it was kind of useful TBH.
@Tricky_TDG Raph does have a personal account on Mastodon, but he's not active on it. Dipped his toes in and made an account, but wasn't sure how to do Mastodon, lol. I am trying to get him to migrate to the big gamedev instance- where he can hang out with other game devs and possibly do some hiring and networking. He's trying Blueskiesskeesskeets right now- not loving the huge crypto/NFT presence there, I am sure.
He'll figure it out eventually, but I think with the bugs in TLD right now plus active hiring and development (at least bare-bones concept stage) in the studio's next game(s), I get the feeling he has no clue how to promote the studio without an algorithm to help.
Maybe seeing that someone made an unofficial mirror here will prompt him to get someone working on an official mirror or on an official account here. Lots of small businesses and journalists seem to stick to the bird app because it makes "reach" easier.
Raphael van LieropIt's not that I "don't know how to do Mastodon" or have "no clue how to promote the studio without a bot" so much that I'm not able and have no interest in supporting multiple social media accounts right now, and I'm finding Bluesky to be a lot more intuitive than Mastodon, which is very slow/clunky for me. We haven't decided where the new studio accounts will land post-Twitter so that's a factor as well.
