@Benfell we can prize inclusion by opening the doors to people who want to set up accounts on fedi. Federating with Threads is not the only way to be inclusive. Not federating with Threads does not mean being against inclusion. Very often it's the opposite — building a safe, inclusive space for those who found Meta spaces toxic and discriminatory.
I also don't have a binary answer here. But there doesn't need to be one. Some instances will federate, some won't. That's fine.

I migrated twice over the years and it's not particularly painful. The only downside is that you don't get to migrate your posts. But you do keep your social graph.
