For some reason I’d never listened to any MA album other than Altars.

Surprise surprise, Blessed is also good! Not as good of course, but very solid. More thrashy so almost feels like it should have come out first. Decent amount of variety and doesn’t outstay its welcome.

@tempeh I saw them recently (right before COVID) with Cannibal and Blood Incantation (what a show, whew) and I'd never seen them before-- they are KILLER. Even Garden of Disdain is totally badass.

@tempeh right?!? 🤯 I mean, I went to Ozzfests back in the day, several other metal shows - Skeletonwitch was incredible. Probably forever my favorite metal band (and I got to hang out with em afterwards haha) They had to fire Chance because of alcohol etc I get it, but they've never been the same since. They got like 4 amazing records with him though.

@tempeh interesting, I listened to Domination when I first got into them and also Altars of Madness. To be fair it was the friends I was hanging out with mostly that influenced me
