🌡️ Hitzerekord vom Montag bereits gestern kassiert

Nachdem Montag als heißester Tag seit Beginn der Aufzeichnung gemeldet wurde, hat der gestrige Tag diesen Rekord noch einmal übertroffen.

Die Klimakatastrophe ist längst da – darum schlagen wir Alarm!

Tuesday was world’s hottest day on record – breaking Monday’s record

Average global temperature hits 17.18C and experts expect record to be broken again very soon

@AufstandLastGen stop building black solar panels on green fields. Build them on roofs. Don't increase the temperature.
@michal @AufstandLastGen
Solar panels absorb the radiation of the sun on a surface. They also slow down the drying out of the surface. both have a cooling effect on the regional climate.

@raetherepublik @AufstandLastGen 45°C is more then 25°C

Solar panels are always more hot then grass od forest. What are you trying here?

@michal @AufstandLastGen

what am I trying to do here? I will try to explain to you that solar panels have a cooling effect on a house or an open space. Of course, the panel itself is hotter than a meadow would be. but the meadow UNDER a panel is cooler than in direct sunlight.

@michal @AufstandLastGen
PV modules absorb around 20% of the energy in sunlight and transport it away in the form of electronic energy. this energy no longer heats the surface. a forest has a similar effect.

@raetherepublik @AufstandLastGen

Cooling effect yes. But it's just an effect. Panels on direct sun can be 50+°C hot. Average temperature is around 45° what's much more then temperature of grass without panels. When we have a field 1500m2 it's 750kW of warming effect what existing only in towns or deserts

@michal @AufstandLastGen
I'm sorry, but you're wrong. PV Fields are overall cooling. It's not a lot. Who cares about the panels surface Temperatur - besides a technician?
@michal @AufstandLastGen
But we agree on something: PV Panels are better placed on roofs!

@raetherepublik @AufstandLastGen

That was a point. To build them on existing infrastructure. Roofs, sound barriers on highways, side of bridges - there everywhere are needs of "cooling effect"
