DH@nichollsndimes seems like it only helps essentially minimum wage workers. Not that they don’t need the help, glad they’re getting it, but lots of people are feeling the squeeze too. What we really need is more competition and for the power to not be concentrated in so few hands here. Loblaws and their family of brands is probably the worst offender here
Link feet pic enjoyer@nichollsndimes If all the grocery stores in most cities across Canada weren't owned by the same four corporations it would be a good thing but alas - it's just another way for us to transfer wealth from the public coffers to wallets of billionaires.
That being said, it provides some relief. I know that it's a welcome bit of support for many and I can't knock that.
