Mastodon is federated so... *someone* could let him on their server, if they wanted to... he could even set-up his own?
@optimisey I don't know what he means by "they" either. There are so many replies on that tweet imploring him to join various other platforms, that if I asked him to be more specific, he'd not likely even see my tweet.
