I really haven’t been engaging because someone replies to a remark or asks me something and I have no idea.

If you’re using Memmy or wefwef, there’s a number that pops up on the inbox icon showing how many messages you have. Pretty sure push notifications haven’t been enabled yet though. Thunder has an inbox as well but no indicator for new messages or how many.

The only notification that I ever get is an email notification, and that is because I have that set up in my user settings. I get an email notification when someone replies to a post or a comment that I’ve made. I’ve never got any notifications from any of the Lemmy apps that I’ve been trying out.
